Carmen (Funchal, 1950) is one of the most expressive voices in the Madeiran artistic panorama to explore the complex relationships between human beings, nature and culture, registering a diverse plastic production, with sculpture roots, installation and performance, which moves between the aesthetics, ethics and the spiritual fields. This exhibition is a visual proposal to rethink human relations with the environment today, based on a narrative that resumes the connection of the feminine with the forces of nature and weaves dialogues with the works, the space and the identity of this museum.
