Exhibition, alluding to the carnival season, featured in the “Universo de Memórias João Carlos Abreu”. This is a way of highlighting some of the smaller and more specific collections of the Institution's collection.
Despite the MASK being the most important Carnival element, it is used in different cultures, since the dawn of humanity, with different meanings and uses and, in this sense, during the guided tours that take place, from Monday to Friday, that special attention will be given to the 70 masks from the four corners of the world - America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
