As part of the celebrations of World Oceans Day, the Natural History Museum of Funchal, in collaboration with the Francisco Franco Secondary School, presents the exhibition “Ocean’Arte”. This exhibition is the culmination of the work of the 11th year students of the Visual Arts Course, under the coordination of Professor Isabel Lucas. These students developed the project “Marine Species of Madeira” in which the techniques of realistic painting and forced combinations were worked, thus resulting in extremely creative and original works.
