Clint abandoned his old life to run a bar in the Siberian mountains, where most of his customers don't speak English, his native language. Unsatisfied with the failed attempt to find peace in isolation, Clint embarks on a sleigh ride that takes him to a cave where he confronts his dreams and the memories he keeps of people from his past, trying to understand his life. An anarchic and mystical odyssey along the paths of individualism, masculinity and nostalgia, the film narrates a man's journey to the inside of himself. The sixth collaboration between Abel Ferrara and Willem Dafoe, Siberia is already considered the filmmaker's most intriguing and mysterious project.
