The Political Constitution of the Portuguese Republic of 1933, (in Government Gazette No. 83/1933, Series I of 1933-04-11) that gave rise to the Estado Novo, was an authoritarian, autocratic political regime and corporatist that lasted for 41 in Portugal. It was extinguished by the April 25th 1974, Revolution- Carnation Revolution.
