The Portuguese Emerging Art (PEA) call is open until June 30, 2020, in order to promote the work of emerging Portuguese artists inside and outside Portugal.

The promotion is carried out with the support of institutions that reinforce and legitimize the work selection done by a different invited jury in each edition.
The categories vary between digital art / new media art, public art, artistic ceramics, disciplinary crosses, drawing, sculpture, photography, installation art, performance art, painting, sound art and videoart.
In this fourth edition that both Portuguese artists and artists who live and work in Portugal, will be able to apply for this fund for free.

Emergency Support for Artists and Culture Regulation
This regulation sets up the competition rules to access the Emergency Support for Artists and Culture destined to protect artistic creation and to minimise the damage suffered by professionals in the fields of Visual Arts, Dance, Music and Theatre, resulting from the cancellation of concerts, shows or exhibitions, subsequent from the Covid-19 pandemic safety measures.
