The Festival Barroco a Norte 2025 aims to be an event of excellence, promoting Baroque music in conjunction with the various architectural elements found in the churches of the North Coast of the region, as an important vehicle of cultural expression.

This third edition, which will take place on March the 22nd and 29th and April the 5th and 12th, will once again feature local musicians from the Autonomous Region of Madeira and abroad in various instrumental formations, as well as the presence of a musician and actors who will perform their artistic activity in the pulpit, which is the highlight of this festival. In this way, music and literature join hands so that the monuments built by our ancestors, as well as temples of introspection, can become spaces of cultural enjoyment.

The production is the responsibility of the Madeira Classical Orchestra Association - AOCM, with the institutional support of the Regional Secretariat for Economy, Tourism and Culture, through the Regional Directorate for Culture.

All concerts are free of charge.
