The Regional Secretariat of Economy, Tourism and Culture, through the Regional Directorate of Culture, and the Madeira Classical Orchestra Association present the first of the four concerts in the 2025 programme of the ‘Baroque in the North’ concert cycle.
Ensemble de Cour & O do Bairro Belo present Stories from the French Baroque Court, on Saturday the 22nd of March, starting at 8pm in the Church of Seixal.
By alternating between singing and instrumentation, the protagonists of this concert will recreate the grandeur of the Sun King's court music, in an atmosphere of nobility and contemplation.
Barroco a Norte 2025’ reinforces the commitment to cultural decentralisation, bringing Baroque music to different venues in the north of the region.
All concerts are free entrance.
