“I come to confess, Father, because I have sinned. – What sins have you committed, my daughter? – I don’t know.”
In the choir of a Catholic school for girls, Celia's voice should not be heard. But her acceptance of the conservative doctrines of an environment absolutely devoid of color and individuality is shaken by the arrival of a new colleague, Brisa. Finding herself on the threshold of adolescence, Celia discovers a thirst to live in all its multifaceted glory. A bond quickly develops between the two girls, and together they mobilize against authority figures and their strict norms. Through small acts of rebellion, Celia finds the courage to express her growing distrust of the value system that governs the world in which she lives in 1990s Spain, as questions about her own family begin to emerge - a topic your mother has always kept silent about.
