 The new production by Associação Avesso has its premiere date set for the 20th of October, with sessions taking place in Ponta do Sol and Calheta. Teatro do Avesso staged “O Feiticeiro da Calheta”, with text and staging by Pedro Araújo Santos, based on the literary works of Eugénio Perregil. The Feiticeiro da Calheta is the name given to João Gomes de Sousa, a popular Madeiran poet, author of the genesis of the famous Bailinho da Madeira.
