D. Juan de Bourbon (n. 20 of June of 1913; f. 1 of April of 1993), earl of Barcelona and royal prince of Spain.
He was the son of Afonso XIII (1887-1941), king of Spain and Vitória Eugenia de Battenberg (1887-1969), queen of Spain and granddaughter of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. He is the grandfather of the current king of Spain, Philip VI (b. 1968).
He was pretender to the throne of Spain, who ended up resigning in favor of his son Juan Carlos I (b.1938), having remained in exile in Estoril (Portugal) during Francisco Franco's long dictatorial government. He was in Madeira in 1950, 1958 and 1966.
He was awarded the Grand Cross of the Military Order of Christ of Portugal in 1986.
