Today, 80 years have passed since the inauguration of Mercado dos Lavradores. This building is one of the municipal government of Fernão de Ornelas (between 1935 and 1946) reference works, designed by the architect Edmundo Tavares and with Batistini Faience de Maria de Portugal tile panels, by the painter João Rosa Rodrigues.
