The “Museu de Fotografia da Madeira - Atelier Vicente's” shares a photographic record dating from 1960 in which the extinct BP petrol pump can be seen, located in “Espírito Santo e Calçada”, in Câmara de Lobos. This petrol station was installed in the 2nd half of the 20th century and replaced a primitive space existing since 1930. It operated until the mid-1990s, being later replaced by a garden area where the statue in honor of the sea wolf is located, by António Matos.
