Cultura Madeira - Amusement park in the Historic Center of Funchal

The “Museu de Fotografia da Madeira - Atelier Vicente's” today marks the customs and traditions of the “Festa”, the name by which the Christmas season in Madeira is known. We present a set of photographs by João António Pestana, illustrative of the dynamics that at time took place in the historical center of Funchal, commonly known as “Zona Velha”.
