The “Museu de Fotografia da Madeira - Atelier Vicente's” marks today the International Day of Human Rights, with an image of João Pestana. This anniversary is celebrated on the same date as which the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in 1948. This celebration aims to promote the Human Rights defense, regardless of color, race, gender, religion, among others.
