Dr. Marcelo Caetano, deposed President of the Council of the New State, accompanied by Dr. Joaquim da Silva Cunha (1920-2014), professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon and deposed Minister of National Defense in the central bastion of the São Lourenço Palace, before his departure for exile in Brazil.
