Inaugurated on September 7, 2017, a private collection of optical devices was presented to the public for the first time on Madeira Island and since then dozens of objects have been added to the permanent exhibition, which now has more than 2000 objects.
Currently, the exhibition area is spread over two floors, a cafe area and a small antique shop with free access at the entrance to the building.
