The Regional Secretariat of Tourism and Culture will once again be present at the Funchal Book Fair with its own stand and with a view to publicizing the editorial investment increased in recent years, at the level of the Regional Directorate of Culture (DRC) and the Regional Directorate of Archives and Madeira Library (DRABM).

In this 50th edition of the event, more than 160 titles are available at the SRTC stand in different formats (books, CD's and DVD's), not only published under the auspices of SRTC (DRC and DRABM) but also editions that were financially supported by the Regional Government. The Regional Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Eduardo Jesus, who visited the Book Fair this Friday, at Placa Central on Avenida Arriaga, said: “Our participation in this event aims not only to promote the regional book collection but, Likewise, providing various audiences with access to publications published by DRC, whose primary mission is to promote the study and knowledge of our island culture”.
