Some curiosities about the artist Susanne Themlitz, featured under the section Um dia, uma obra (“One day, one work"), represented in the MUDAS Museum’s collection with a set of photomontages from the series Egomaníacos e Imperfeitos ("Egomaniacs and Imperfects").

Artist with dual nationality, Portuguese and German, Susanne Themlitz was born in Lisbon, in 1968. She started her artistic training at the Visual Communication & Art Centre (Ar.Co), in 1987, where she studied drawing and sculpture. In 1992, she moved to London to study at the Royal College of Art through an exchange program. She completed her Master's degree in Plastic Arts at the Kunstakademie in Dusseldorf, Germany, in 1995, with a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

She exhibits regularly since 1992, mainly in Portugal and Germany.

Susanne Themlitz shares her artistic activity through a variety of means of expression, using various materials and techniques, such as sculpture, photography, drawing, painting and video.

She lives and works between Lisbon and Cologne.
